Hi,
I am running a simple flow through a pipe. The pipe has flowing water and oil trapped beneath. I am using VOF explicit scheme with CICSAM. When I run for oil viscosity comparable to water the number of iterations required per time step to converge (to 1e-6) is just 1 or 2 iterations. But when I increase the oil viscosity, the residuals does not reach 1e-6 even if have 100 iterations/time step. My courant number is around 0.2 and Re around 0.5 Is there anything that can be done to improve the convergence ? Manxu |
