Hello,
I am working on some problems on MHD. As a starting point, I have been suggested to find magnetic field around a current carrying coil or conductor. 1. I thought of writing UDS for the magnetic field (which is similar to the magnetic induction equation given in MHD manual). Also, since there is no fluid flow, I thought of making the viscosity of the surrounding region high. 2. I am however stuck in the boundary conditions. How can i apply the current (or current density) as inlet?Could someone clarify? 3. Regarding modelling, should i first make the coil and use the enclosure option in design modeller and mesh? I would be grateful if anyone could suggest some pointers on how I should proceed? Thank you. Regards, Yash Ganatra |
