Dear Mates,

Please check the attachment. Kindly let me know where I am going wrong. I am using Ansys Fluent 14.5.

The model is ready but I am unable to go ahead for analysis. Kindly help.

I see that you loaded the cas-file, and loaded the dat-file.
Did you do anything after loading the dat-file?
(The log-file shows that some threads are changed, but I can't see if that is done automatically by Fluent, or if you started that.)

Yes that is what I have done. Can you kindly tel me the steps to get the result? What all files are required?

I will ask again, because I don't think you read the question: Did you do anything after loading the dat-file? If so: what did you do?

What All I did was... Opened Fluent
File -> Read -> Case & Data... Selected Cas file. It took dat file in default.

Then it looks like the dat-file does not completely correspond to the cas-file. They are both the same geometry (because the number of elements agree), but the ID's are different.

How sure are you that this combination of cas and dat files is correct? Where they made at the same time? (check the 'Date modified' in explorer)

I have the feeling that you are trying to load an older version of the dat file into a newer version of the cas file, or the other way around. Does this make sense to you, knowing how you generated the cas and dat files?
