I would like to obtain time averaged data of custom field functions in FLUENT 6.3. I know this feature is available in ANSYS FLUENT 14. How do I go about it?

Dear Musa,
there is no easy way to do that. Your only option is to use User Defined Memory locations and cumulate there your statistics as integrals in time then divide by the cumulated time. The above should be, of course, implemented in a DEFINE_ADJUST UDF with an UDM for each statistic. Also, consider using a DEFINE_ON_DEMAND UDF to erase the cumulated statistics on request. |
