asal is on a distinguished road
Hello!

I want to simulate a case that inlet is half sphere (3-D). For this case I need to assign turbulent boundary condition (Turbulence intensity and Hydroponic diameter or Length scale or others.)
The problem is since the inlet is three dimensional, I cannot calculate hydroponic diameter from the well-known equation 4A/P. I do not know how to calculate periphery in three dimensional.

Has anybody here any solution to this problem?
Thanks.
