I'm using VOF model with two phase of air and water. If the energy equation is enabled, is heat transfer enabled too? if not ,what should do to enable it?
Thank you. |

You still have one fluid formulation: both phases shares the same temperature field but with own enthalpies bases on the shared temperature. That means yes but with a lot of restrictions

Thank you for replying. I upload a piciture. Does convection heat transfer exist between the air and water in this case ? |

hi friends.
could you tell me how to control heat transfer between phases while using vof? i am modelling a bubble plume and vof transfer heat between air and water more than reality ! and lead to discrepancy |
