Hi
There is a porous surface whose fluid porosity is 0.2337 and air is passing through the surface. What I should put for viscous resistance in fluent? Is there any formula to calculate it? Regards |

You would need some data that would give you a relation between pressure drop at different flow rates. You can then devise the loss coefficient from this and plug the values in porus jump boundary condition. The procedure is very well documented in the Help documentation.
