Hello,
I am trying to model a closed 2-phase thermosyphon.
it consists of a pipe with 3 equal sections.
the 1st section contain about 1/3 water and as a boundary condition heat is added.
2nd section it is an adiabatic section.
3rd section a condenser is applied where the vapor water is cooled and gets back the the first section.
Attached is the model i wana simulate.

I drew it on gambit and made the meshes.
then i wana simulate it on fluent. i am choosing 2 materials. water liquid and water vapor. (should i assign water liquid and air since before heating the pipe, water and air where only presence?)
V.O.F in multiphase. and i am assigning each phase to its corresponding material.
Is there anything else i should do regarding the multiphase thing? and i have been told i need to patch it. but i dont know how and where.
i need to simulate it in order to extract the viscosity data of the water and vapor as well as their density and velocity etc...

Thank you so much in advance
Any help would be very helpful

Hello, did you solve this simulation? I have some results. But they are not very satisfying.
