Dear All,
Could anyone please suggest me how can I apply hydrostatic pressure at a vertical pressure inlet? Or is it possible in fluent or not ? Any help will be really appreciated. Regards, Tanjina |

Yes turning the gravity on give a reference density and work on defining the hydrstotic pressure which is then problem dependent. In your vertical tube that will b easy through patching the domain with the hydrostatic pressure.

Thanks a lot. Could you explain a little bit more? Please find the image of my model on Ansys Fluent. Left side is the inlet and BC for that side is hydrostatic pressure. So I tried to use Pressure inlet. But for pressure inlet, I can input total gauge pressure, not the hydrostatic pressure. So I was seeking any type of help or suggestion from anyone. Thanks again.
