Can you elaborate what do you mean by 'multiplying some factor' to the lift and drag coefficient FLUENT produces when taking Reference area as 1m2 and Reference length as 1m?

Is it that since Cd=Fd/(0.5*density*Vinf^2*Reference area) where I have set Reference area to 1m2, I'll have to multiply as follows:
Cd_actual=Cd_fluent*1/Projected Area
Projected area in case of sphere would be pi*r^2.

Hi all
Kindly clarify my doubt,
My aim is to calculate the cd value of a bridge deck section for a Particular RE. I am doing a 2d simualtion,.What should be my reference area and depth.. I tried with A=1 and D=1,it doesnt give the correct cd value

i calculated the surface area of the deck similar to calculating area of a rectangle and substituted the corresponding depth,,is that approach right?
