Hello
I have a mesh of 7,000,000 elements created in Gambit. When read in Fluent, parallel version, throws me the following error: Error: failed in parallel_build_grid Primitive Error at node ..... : Null domain pointer ...... ...... To solve this problem, first I read the mesh in Fluent serial version, configure the simulation, initialize with FMG, save the .cas and .dat. Then I opened the Fluent parallel version, read on .cas and .dat and perform the iterations. In some models this way solved the above problem, however in other models, what happens to me is that when I run the iterations in the parallel version, I just used a core of eight that has my computer! therefore takes a very long time! and I'm not taking advantage of the CPU. When all goes well, the simulation converges in three hours, the other way, it takes days! Someone out where you can be the problem?? or to fix it? Thank you very much in advance for your answers. Best regards Claudio |
