Hi, everyone,

I am using fluent to simulate 2D heat transfer problem. I assigned materials to different parts, when I click on the "contour of thermal conductivity" I found something strange. Even there is gradient in thermal conductivity in one of the cells. (Please see the picture attached). I used triangular cell in mesh. Please help me with this problem, I am stuck on this problem for so long time, thanks so much.

Maybe False diffusion. Try to refine the meshes in those area. a more accurate discretization scheme might help as well.

Thanks for your reply. But it seems not a pro of discretization, I tried to refine the mesh, but failed to get rid of this prob. Thanks anyway.
