[I've done a cylinder of 400m. I've done a mesh of 7 cm t-grid and my problem converged. Now I've scaled the cylinder using a ratio 1 : 20 but there are residual oscillations. These are shown in the image ATTACH]25320[/ATTACH].
I'm using k epsilon standard and my problem is steady. So how can I resolve this problem? |

Make sure your scaling is isotropic (equal ratio in all directions), or you may have created bad elements.
Also, ensure you scaled before setting up the rest of your case so that your boundary conditions don't get mismatched (they shouldn't, but the Fluent documentation recommends it).
