Hello,
I tried to define a transient velocity input for fluent using both Profiles & Tabular data method described in Ansys 14.5 documentation, the profiles are imported correctly and even I can see fluent is plotting them well in Plots->Profile data, but in the results, when I plot the velocity input for midpoint, a linear profile is plotted instead! I've attached the .prof .ttab files. Here is what I define at inlet : Here is what fluent gives me in results at inlet instead : Model info : Simple cylinder, inlet:v_u=v_inlet, outlet: p_static=0,timestep=0.01, total steps=700 Last edited by Mos; September 6, 2013 at 03:02.
