Are there any services that would allow my company to rent time on someones machine (or cluster) to solve my FLUENT problem. The FLUENT model will be ready to be run. This may be advantageous over purchasing our own computer and license. -Jeff

I thought that Fluent used to have its own cluster that it would rent out for customers wanting to run CFD cases. They also signed a NDA (non-disclosure-agreement) and ensured security of data.

try a supercomputer center, e.g.

http://www.teragrid.org

... but I think they are primarily (exclusively?) for research.

Hi Jeff,

Fluent still has a Remote Simulation Facility (RSolve) to which customers can upload FLUENT jobs and run them on Fluent's RSF cluster. For more information, please visit http://www.fluent.com/software/rsolve/index.htm. If you are currently a Fluent customer, you can also contact your Fluent Account Manager directly for additional information.

According to their website (and one of their IT guys I was talking to last night) Fluent does have a cluster they rent time on:

Fluent RSolve Service and Remote Simulation Facility (RSF) http://www.fluent.com/software/rsolve/index.htm

Hope this helps, --- Adam
