Hi everybody !
I am currently trying to calculate a radiation heat flux with a 1D code to fit 3D Fluent results. The problem is that I can't find the emissivity of the material I'm using. I went in the radiation dialog box of Fluent and for wall boundary conditions there is a number called "internal emissivity". I guess it's not what I'm looking for but what is it? Where can I find the principle/formula Fluent uses to calculate the radiation heat flux (looked in the user guide but didn't find it)? Does anybody know if I can calculate this without using the emissivity? |
