Hello
I am simulating a 3D chute of spillway. I have a problem with symmetry boundary after mirroring it in fluent. You can see number1 image before mirroring and number2 image after mirroring. Two models is contacting together. Why this is happening? Can you help me? Thanks |

Looks like the domain is not mirrored along the symmetry boundary condition, but a rotational periodicy around the y-axis is shown.
Or maybe the mirroring plane does not exactly coincide with the symmetry boundary. What are the exact steps that led to this output? |

Thanks for your reply.
Steps: Display----->views-----> choose plane from mirror planes then apply. |
