I have been simulating a flow in an angled orifice, The geometry is such that it causes the mesh to have low quality ( Final ICEM Quality: 0.3, ICEM Blocking Equiangle skewness: 0.3). I was able to obtain continuity e-5 and the rest e-8 convergence for k-e standard but k-e RNG is not going any lower than e-1 for continiuity and e-4 for the rest. Any suggestions?
I understand that k-e RNG is more difficult to converge compared to k-e standard, but I wonder if there is anything I can do about it! |
