Dear all
this is Farzad, and I want ti simulate a centrifugal compressor, but I have some problems. I use blade-generator and I exported it to design-modeler,I mesh it, now I face a problem in fluent(solver) sectio. 1- I use MRF , but I don't know the exact rotation direction, is it (Z) or (-Z)? 2- in tutorials they use oressur inlet and pressure outlet, why? do we must know these quantities? 3- after all when I run calculations, after few iterations I observe REVERSED FLOW. I appreciate your helps in advance. Farzad Last edited by farzadmech88; June 4, 2013 at 11:48. |

this is my mail problem:
""I am doing CFD analysis of compressor in FLUENT. but i am facing the problem of REVERSED FLOW at inlet as well as outlet with Pressure outlet condition. i am using density based solver. Is it appropriate?? If i am using IDEAL GAS as fluid then it shows very large values of ranges pressure, temperature and velocity."" |
