Hi user,
I am doing my master thesis. In my thesis work, I have to flow a particle (range nm size ) in a pipe. I am using fluent. So, i am new in cfd and ansys also. My cad geometry is a hollow pipe.so, regarding that i have some questions.
  • How to create a fluid region in a hollow pipe? A Fill opption is available. can i use a fill option to create a fluid region?
  • I have to find out the particle deposition to the innerwall. so i am using DEM, lagragian particle tracking Frame. Am I on right way?
  • As a carrrier phase , in my thesis work is a hot air and a discrete phase as a particle. so I think for a carrier phase is a steady state flow and discrete phase is a unsteady flow. am i right?
I hope i will get some benefits of your experience. Pls help me .
Thanks and Regards,
New cfd Knowledge Hunger
