T channel in single rotating reference frame

Hello
i want to simulate a T channel in single rotating reference frame. i studied user guide and tutorial . according to them i should choose 2D option in solver ( Define-Solver-2D) not axisymmetric or axisymmetric swirl . but when i just choose 2D after that in defining boundary condition for fluid when i choose moving reference frame, it doesn't ask for rotational speed? i would be grateful if anyone could help me. |

Thank you for your reply and excuse me for delay in responding i attach the figure of my geometry. there is one inlet at left and 2 outlet in right side and bottom. my problem is according to user guide this geometry is just 2D ( not axisymmetric or axisymmetric swirl like tutorial guide example) and when i choose 2D in solver , after that, in defining boundary condition when i choose moving reference frame for fluid it doesn't ask me the rotation speed! thus the answer is not true! i attach mesh file too if it was allowed. thanks for your reply this problem is not in any site that i can link to. consider a disc which is rotating at a constant velocity. there is a channel like the image attached to previous post on the disc which contain fluid. so for modeling this fluid on disc, we should model the channel in single rotating frame. according to the user guide of fluent my problem is not axisymmetric and its just 2d. in tutorial guide in solver panel , it choose axisymmetric swirl appropriate to their problem. I proceed just like the tutorial but just in solver panel i choose 2D instead of axisymmetric swirl . after that in boundary condition for fluid when i choose moving reference frame (like tutorial) it does not ask me the rotation speed! and my deviation from tutorial was just 2D instead of axisymmetric swirl! what should i do?where is my problem? thank you so much and accept my apology for this long text. |

Thanks for the explanation, but I am still a little confused... Are you attempting to solve this problem using SU2 or Fluent?
