2d FLUENT data postprocessed in Tecplot

Salut,

I want to extract ~10k data points (e.g. the temperature) (coordinates given) from an unstructured 2d FLUENT data file in Tecplot using a Python or Tecplot script. Unfortunately it seems all the probe commands only work in 3d.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!
