UDS_rambler is on a distinguished road
Hi everybody,

I devised a 3D model of a device which contains a granular dispersed phase within an aqueous primary phase. I validated this model for constant granular diameter and now I want to assign, by means of UDF, different granular diameters in each cell.
I can approximate diameter statistical distribution as a normal gaussian distribution, knowing maximum and minimum values and supposing they correspond to the limits of the 95% of confidence interval.
I know I can assign diameter properties using the routine DEFINE_PROPERTY but I can't understand how I can manage this issue. For each cell, I thought of extracting a diameter value from a normal distribution, but to do so, do I have to perform another cell loop within DEFINE_PROPERTY?
Do you have any suggestion?
Thank you in advance!
Giuseppe
