Hi
i want to use the sliding mesh to simulate dynamic stall of an airfoil, but i wonder if it is the same with what i do with dynamic mesh? thanks! |

Compared to dynamic mesh, the interface of sliding mesh might introduce some artificial numerical dissipation since it only guarantees C0-continuity, which means that the wake might be slightly distorted near the interface.

thanks for your reply, but if the interface is big enough, which means the wake is far away from the interface, then will it be better with sliding mesh?
