Hi,
Here is simple question regarding boundary condition for FLUENT VOF MODEL. A tank is half filled with water and half with air. Inlet is at top and outlets are at bottom. Water is entering from inlet and exiting from outlet. Amount of water intake is low such that tank is emptying. Please suggest Inlet and outlet BC. Image attached. Thank you |

Hi
inlet ----> velocity inlet outlet ---> pressure outlet in both boundary the volume fraction of water must be equal to 1 |

Thank you,
But taking these boundary conditions, inlet flux remains equal to outlet flux and Free surface does not decreases. But in actual practice free surface should go down. What may be the reason? |
