Hey everyone,

currently I am trying to load a mesh generated in ICEM into Fluent (using workbench). After Fluent has startet, it closes immediately only showing the error:

Using the repair tool in ICEM, as stated in the thread, did not work and I am definitely exporting an mesh file to Fluent.

Does anyone of you know this error and/or how to solve it? Contacting the support would be an option, but I first want to look for an easy way to solve the problem.

Similar problem here, crashes after "distributing mesh" process in fluent.
Shows the same error in ansys 14 and 14.5 and on other machine.

It looks like the problem is caused by mesh interfaces ( defined by automatic connections in ansys ICEM CFD ) where the number of connections is too high. (2 parts and few hundred bodies) . Grouping connections by part and remeshing seems to solve the problem.

Cortex is a user interface process for fluent and I think that displaying so many interfaces cannot be handled.

Correct me if I'm wrong

Import the mesh again solved the problem.
