Hello to all,
first of all I apologize for my English. Let me explain my problem. I'm trying to simulate with FLUENT a fluid bed reactor. I used the Eulerian-Eulerian multiphase model and thus far there have been no problems. Now, however, I was interested in assessing the trajectories of the particles inside the reactor, and then use the DPM model. In particular the guide I read that you can use the Eulerian model including the DDPM. when I go to set up my problem with these parameters, launch the simulation and immediately finds a divergence. How can I simulate this my model? I hope I was clear in explaining. I also tried to do the following:
-launch the simulation without introducing any particle so as to have a converged solution;
-insert the particle inside the reactor by selecting the DPM menu templates.

is correct? I thank you in advance for your answer.
Hello,
Luca

The problem with DDPM model is that it always always diverges.
I have tried it a lot but always it diverges.

But according you one theory you have to first solve DPM model and then use the data from there to put in DDPM model.
U have to interpolate flow and particle trajctories from DPM and put in DDPM.

Tell me if it works.

Regards

thanks for the reply. I'm not sure how, but now it is simulating and seems to be fine. soon as I finish and let you know if I try with the method that you told me. Thank you again for your response
