Hello there,
I´m trying to simulate a 2D Oxy-Fuel combustion with medium high velocity using the steady flamelet model. I´ve already simulate this case with EDC and Equilibrium, which was no problem. Now, after generating the flamelets and the PDF-Table for the GRI 3.0 Mech, the simulation creates very strange solutions. The Fluent output tells me, that there is a minimum PDF Table temperature in about 12k cells and even the temperature contour shows a cold bubble around the flame. I´ve tried a bunch of flamelet generation settings with always 40 flamelets and the flamelets are all converged, but all showing the same behaviour. What can be the problem? Many thanks, Patrick |

No idea? Hmmm, it seems like there is something like an pole point in the near of a scalar dissipation of 1.The temperature decreases and the co mole fraction increases at this point.
