Hi all,
I wanted to simulate R134a in Ansys Fluent in its super critical phase and hence enabled NIST real gas model for the same. An annular pipe is made and meshed in workbench where inner wall is heated and outer wall is made adiabatic and the flow is made upward in the annular pipe with boundary conditions as follows:- inlet mass flow rate:- 0.16Kg/m2s inlet temperature :-423K Pressure outlet :- 5Mpa and inlet pressure :- 5Mpa heat flux :- 25kW/m2 The temperature and pressure are above the critical point. But the error which I am getting is :- REFPROP_error(202) from function:tprho (density) liquid iteration has not converged for T= Nan K,P= 5.0000Mpa,rho?(last guess)=Nan mol/L,compositions =1.0000 Kindly help me.... Thanking you. |

Hi, is your problem solved? Recently, I met this problem? But I avoided it by changing the boundary condition. However, in this case, it not my original situation. I am very interested in your results. Thanks
