Hi~ I want to install ansys workbench on OpenSUSE12.1. Since I am a beginer for both linux and ansys, who can tell me where can I find the installation package ? and How to install the ential ansys workbench on OpenSUSE12.1 ?Are there any Installation Guides ? If there are, where can I find them?

At least for ANSYS version 12 it was a complete disaster... I tryed all kinds of linux distributions and howtos from forums. They all didn't work. Especially if you are a beginner in linux, I would advise you to use Windows.

Rodriguez at least it did for me i was using it on OpenSUSE 12.04. Dont know much about the installation as it was on my uni workstations.

I was so happy with linux... and couldn't get it running. Now I am stuck with this windows crap.

I must say then go for openSUSE i think it has better adaptability for Ansys and other simulation software then Ubuntu. It's not as user friendly as Ubuntu or the GUI is also not as good.
