Has anybody a case of NASA rotor 67 on FLUENT? I have been trying to simulate this case for a couple of months with no convincing results.
I built the mesh with maximum skewness of 0.84. Is this a possible skewness to run the case in FLUENT? The difficulty in meshing the rotor, due to the twisting from the hub to the tip, is to get a structured mesh with low skewness number. I am willingly to provide any data should it be required to help you understand the problem. Regards, Raditya |

Hi,
Were you able to simulate the rotor? |

Hi
You can use facial boundary layer mesh in Gambit(its easy and fast) OR introduce your geometry to BLADEGEN (this is difficult) then mesh with TurboGrid (it gives really high quality hex. mesh) Regards |

Hi
No, but Ive done some turbomachinery analyses with high accuracy(most with water as working fluid). You can ask your questions. Have you read this?: http://hv.diva-portal.org/smash/get/...FULLTEXT01.pdf Regards |
