Hi,
I am working on analysis of helical coil. I have taken a complete loop to generate mesh as i want to use periodic boundary for this. Initially i solved the flow using inlet/outlet boundary conditions and then switched to periodic boundary. But the flow diverges ( continuity diverges & momentum remains constant) when i shift to periodic boundary. I am working on laminar flow and had solved initial flow( with inlet/outlet condition) upto 1e-08. Can anybody tell me what can be the problem?? I have tried number of meshes with diff cell size.
