Dear all,
I am simulating the transport of contrast agent through a vessel and observed a strange phenomenon: The species shows kind of a wavelike tail on the one side of the vessel (even though I consider a constant flow)(see picture: mass fraction of contrast agent is plotted in 3d for a plane of the vessel center). That means mass fraction of contrast agent is going up an down. The other side looks fine. I don't think it's a "real" effect... Does anybody have an idea what this could be? Thanks a million for any help and idea! Lilly |
