Jamal,
I am now working in the area of gas entrainment in stirred tanks. I had done the steps that you followed. While taking the contour of volume fraction before running, impeller and baffle walls are also coming in the phases. How I have to separate these parts from phases?? |

Hello everyone,
I am still very new to this topic and have a question . I want to simulate a stirrer which is half filled with water . The motion is not the problem. However, I don't get the visualization of the free surface. I set the Volume fraction to Components (Water = Value 1.0 / Air = Value 0.0). I have tried to define the water level about position, volume and a lot more things, but nothing works. What am I doing wrong? The 2D Tutorial about Gravity driven Flow worked well. And I think I should also use a field function with the 3D simulation. If you need more details, please let me know. Thanks a lot! Amelie |
