Hello Every body
I'm modeling a solar chimney power plant by Fluent . I use fluent to solve The Steady-state problem . my Bcs are pressure inlet (=0) and Pressure outlet ( =0 ) and use S2S radiation model to simulate . I see that the residuals don't converge . I have changed urf of Energy to 0.5 , doesn't help ; momentum to 0.2 ; doesn't help and dissipation rate to 0.5 ; doesn't help . the residuals of velocity are under 10^-3 energy about 10^-5 epsilon about 10^-3 and k between 10-3 and 10-4 . I am monitoring my Velocity on a special plane and see that it fluctuates between 11.1 and 11.7 . for my problem , the order ( 1.1 * 10^1 m/s ) is rational and sufficient but I'm not sure is the solution reliable ? I've used k-e RNG model ( becuase I think Re number is Low , and RNG responses better . is it right ? )
