Default Initialization method for open channel

Hi........
I have an open channel with velocity inlet.
In fluent>solution initialization> compute from, when i write velocity inlet and selecting standard initialization method from initialization method and click the initialize, then velocity inlet is removed automatically from "compute from".
It shows no error in display menu.
