Hi, I'm using harpoon to mesh a model of an airbus A320 and fluent to then analyse flow to study wake formation but when I read the mesh in fluent and check the mesh the following error is reported- 1 degenerated contact points identified. WARNING: Mesh check failed.
What should I do? |

Maybe your mesh's skewness is too high and you have some cells with negative volumes. That is what I realize of "contact points identified". Try to locate the bad cells in your computational domain and remove them.
Hope it's helpful, Best. |

Long way to do it; chop your mesh in half , try reading that in, if it works then the problem is in the other half, or vice versa. Keep chopping it up until you find your problem.
