Any help would be appreciated:
I am using FLUENT to model a regular wave tank with linear theory and dynamic mesh. I am using a VOF multiphase model, with transitory regime. I want to measure the magnitude (amplitude) of the wave at at position x = 20 m, through of the time, inside the wave tank, from the mobile wall. How to measure the magnitude (amplitude) in that distance?. |

You can write a UDF to calculate number of cells around the cells that included with water.

Ok. thanks you very much. I will attempt to write a UDF. but, I have little experience in programming. Is it the only way to measure the amplitude of the wave?.

The length of the water tank is 200m, from th mobile wall, with 16 m depth. I want to measure the magnitude (amplitude) of the wave at at position x = 20 m from the mobile wall, through of the time, in the free surface (depth= 0m)
