dear cfd guys,

this is the first time i use a forum in my live to get some information. but i know that posts get moved if they're in a unapropriate place. pls then tell where to post it or move this post.

i want to learn ansys fluent, because there is a open job in my company which interests me a lot, but i haven't had the chance in uni to learn any cfd. i am fit in fluid dynamics and i did some numerical solutions in uni but the only fea we did was materialanalysis from simple bodys with simple load/stress and just steady conditions.

as i am working and not in uni anymore i'll have to learn it on my own. there are a lot of tutorials for fluent but to be fair following examples doesn't mean you always really get what you do and especially why you do it this way.

how do you recommend to a cfd freshman to get started? the job vacancie won't be there for ever.. so i'd like to learn effectivly. it's obvious to know the theory but to do for example fea in abacus for stressanalysis you don't really need al the mathmatical background to solve easy problems..

maybe you also can recommend some good literature or turorials which you used to learn it.

i hope my question is not too stupid and i hope to get some good anwers. sorry for my english ;-)
