how to calculate vortex shedding frequency

Dear all,
I have simulated a finite span S809 blade with DES using transient simulation. For analyzing the noice generated by the vortical system, I need to have the vortex shedding frequency of the simulation... Can anyone tell me how to get (calculate) it in the post processing of the results? Tnx in advance |

Hello,
You can use Fast Fourier Transform and other programming to extract out the dominate frequency. How to calculate predominant shedding frequency in Strouhal Number |
