Hi
I'm a Mechanical engineering student and I have a project on the flow patterns and interactions of blood and lymph in the upper vein structure of the human body. I am mostly interested in the flow patterns of the mixture. Up to this point I have generated a rather simple rigid wall 3D model of the vein system with a medium to fine mesh. I have turned on the Energy equation and Species transport model with the properties of the two different fluids as the mixing fluids. I have not yet incorporated non-Newtonian fluid properties for blood. The flow inlet conditions are steady and not yet pulsatile. I was wondering if anyone has done this before and could give me feedback or even help. I would also like to know how to use non-Newtonian fluid properties in ANSYS Fluent. Thanks |
