Hi,

I am currently modelling the flap in the tutorial given by ansys tutorial on 2way fsi. my question is what do I do when the hyperelastic flap touches the bottom of the wall, as it remeshes it gives me the problem and the fluent will have some problem.

thank you, your solution is deeply appreciated.

thank you,

You cannot let it touch, you need to leave a small gap. In Mechanical set up a contact between the flap and the bottom wall and use the Contact Offset feature so that a small gap remains.
