I need to simulate the flapping motion of a flapping wing aircraft using Fluent. I have to get lift and drag forces. I have some basic questions:
1- What type of mesh should be used? dynamic or static 2- Can pressure far field boundary condition be used for dynamic airfoil? Apart from pressure far filed boundary, should I use any other boundary conditions? 3- Do I need to write a UDF code to define the movement of wings? Any suggestion is welcome. |
