hi everybody
Can I analyze a semi salvage rotating cylinder that placed in a fluid by Fluent?!?!? the half of cylinder is in water and the other half is in air and cylinder is rotating with a constant angular velocity. Is it true that I must use multiphase and dynamic meshes? Please help me. |

I think you can use multiphase model and assign an angular velocity to the wall of the cylinder.
I think there's no need for dynamic mesh. Daniele |

But I need the shape of water while the cylinder is rotating, does Fluent give me it without using dynamic mesh? actually I have two fluid zone: water and the air above it. do i need to consider the air above the water? again thank you Mostafa |
