I am modelling 2d flow over a bluff body..
Domain consists of Inlet, outlet, geometry(bluff body;wall), ground(wall) and far0field(wall) 1. I am using standard wall treatment and so the range of Y+ values should be in the range of 30 to 300..My question is should this condition be met on all the walls (ground...far-field..) of the domain or just the geometry(the bluff body) of interest... ? 2. To what extent can the Y+ lie out side this range..? I think its not very easy to get all the Y+ values in this range... for example for 1 simulation Y+ values on bluff bogy are in the range of 4.5 - 600 and the average is 100....do I need to redo the grid? I would really appreciate of you could also provide some reference |
