Hi,
I was just windering, if the grid check fails (in my case due to face handedness (left-handed cells but no negative volume)) any simulation is useless? So without a passed grid check it's not worth to start a simulation? I anyway get convergence with the first iteration and I think it is the grid quality, but I am not sure. Am I right? |

Yeah you are right..
Grid check should not fail in gambit Check the area where you are observing face handedness problem. Change the grid |

Do you mean that you are having the divergence right from first iteration? Are you using grid interfaces (non conformal mesh)? If so then I wouldn't worry too much for fewer left handed cells. If not then it should be fixed. However before concluding left handed faces for the divergence, I would have one more look in my case set up.
