Hello,
I am analyzing the thermoacoustic heat engine. For that, I need to give linear temperature profile on parallel horizontal surfaces whose length are 10mm and thickness of stack plate is 0.5 mm and gap between plates are also 0.5mm. I have gone through the UDF manual of Fluent and found that I need to use DEFINE_PROFILE and F_PROFILE but not able to write UDF. I have given schematic sketch below.(It is sketch not according to the scale.) As shown in the above fig.,origin is shown as (0,0), there are 12 parallel plates of length 10 mm having thickness 0.5mm and gap between them is also 0.5mm and whose hot ends are at 587 K and cold ends are at 300 K and horizontal surfaces are required to give linear temperature profile. Equation for that is: T= ((- 28700 * x)+ 1448) Kelvin Anyone can help me to write UDF. Thank you............ Chirag. |
