Hi,

I want to model flow in a tidal channel. I have the following questions:

  1. In order to represent flood and ebb tide I could use data of velocity field or water surface elevation. What data is better to use? What kind of boundary conditions I have to use?
  2. Should I use the model Volume Of Fluid?
Thanks in advance!
