Hi there.
I'm trying to automate the analysis processing in Fluent because I have to make a lot of analysis. For this reason I'm working with a journal file. The problem is that each problem has its own mesh. If I want to smooth the mesh before running the analysis, it's not always the same. I mean, each mesh is different, so the smooth process will be differente as well. So I was thinking about using the UDF tool, in order to do that. What do you think? Is it possible? Thank you very much |

Hello Acoidan,
I'm not aware of any documented way to call this kind of functions (smooth-mesh) from a udf. However, fluent has an implementation of a fully capable programming language called scheme that you can use instead of C. Check this on wiki: Fluent Environment Dragos |
