I am a brand new UDF user. I am trying to use a udf to redefine a velocity inlet for each time step based on (not equal to) the value provided by either a Surface Monitor or a Surface Integral. For instance, I want to be able to say define a variable v to equal sur-mon-1. The udf will be very simple once I know how to reference that value.

Do you know how to reference surface integral in UDF?

I am trying to do the same, Lanterbw. I'll post what I find out. I want to use the pressure on a plane as input to a simple UDF that controls velocity at inlet.

Hi Bryan. Even though it was a while ago, did you find how to input the pressure monitor into the UDF? I am trying to do this exact thing now.
Thank you for your response! |
